“Alex Katz: New and Recent works,” celebrates the 30th
anniversary of his first exhibition, “Paintings, Drawings, Graphics,” which took
place at the Meyerovich Gallery.

The current exhibition features black and white portraits,
vividly-hued flowers and multi-color still life created with a variety of
complex mediums.

Internationally known for his figurative portraits and
landscapes, Katz is associated with the Pop Art movement, which began in the
early 1960s and included artists Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein,
Ed Ruscha and Robert Rauschenberg.
