Co-curated by the OMCA and students/faculty at San Diego State University, and the third in the series “What’s Happening California,” this installation includes superhero costumes, vintage comic books, Comic-Con memorabilia, student-produced videos and an interactive phone booth with costumes for visitors to try on, as a way of exploring the social and economic impact on the community by the San Diego Comic-Con, the longest-running and largest comics convention.
